[Cupid's Last Stand]

Whoa I just happened to revisit this 10 years to the day after it came out... what are the odds? Still as fantastic now as it was then

I'll admit I was disappointed at first that the series was being rebooted rather than merely continued, but seeing the huge jump in quality and polish from the original, I can't help but be excited for the future and seeing what kind of treatment Yoshi vs. Metallix, the three-front battle on Yoshi's Island, etc. will get. Welcome back sir, and I hope you keep it up.

goku's face every time krillin says 'mondo cool.' that alone makes this worth watching. again and again and AGAIN.

animation was very nice. where'd you get the main music? i liked it.

it's great someone made a movie about this; i stuffed their bodies behind the throne so i didn't have to look at them anymore. ha!

you know what i don't get?

why is hyrule field SO MUCH MORE dangerous when link is a kid than when he's an adult? as a kid, you have peahats (which take away a whole heart every time they hit you) during the day and stalchildren (stalchilds?) dogging you all night. but once you're an adult, and ganondorf has taken over as the evil king and plunged all of hyrule into darkness, all you have are poes that run away and disappear. you'd think the place would be crawling with monsters, but there's nothing! just a big, pointless stretch of land to ride your horse across (and since you're invincible on horseback, those rare enemies that do attack are a nonissue).

anyway, good animation too. VERY similar in style to the real legend, but you already know that, so hey

as soon as i saw that throbbing brain on the preloader, i knew this was going to be something special. you will surely go on to be a hero of newgrounds.

uh yeah..

you gotta be really careful with shape tweens, this is a perfect example of what NOT to do. what you have here is called 'flash crap.' and i didn't make up that term, that's what it's really called.

so yeah, just... just steer clear of flash crap in the future, is what i'm saying. learn how to use motion tweens or animate frame by frame.

truthfuly, i was trying to do that stuff, but it always got F--ked up. so i decided to do something really simple, and wasn't even planning on posting it anywhere.

thanks for the input, though. i'll try to stay away from "Flash Crap" in the future.
