[Halloween Madness]

don't know of this 'music' you speak of...

but the sound is definitely off. don't really know what the deal is there. it pretty much kills what would've otherwise been an ok flash, tired amateurish madness clone notwithstanding.

one, don't submit incomplete stuff to the portal. it probably won't stay. second, don't act all apologetic and say it's your first animation, that actually only increases the chances it'll get blammed.

the main problem i noticed is the background. it sort of flicked in and out like you forgot to put it in all the frames or something. also, it was pretty boring to watch. i was about to x it out but then it was over. the drawing and animation weren't bad (definitely good for a first animation) so submit something that's actually finished with those other things in mind and you'll do alright.

ah yes...

this does remind me of the glory days of newgrounds... where you not only got a toon when blowing the whistle, but after you give the vote that blams or saves a submission (i was fortunate enough to see both)... in the ancient times before the redesign (but after ng was all sketchy cuz of all the porn ads... the dark ages...). good stuff, i liked it.

not bad

the battles were kinda short and didn't altogether flow that well (sorta just went moving, still, moving, still). also, the hand drawn parts looked kinda bad and some of the writing was kinda lame, but overall it was pretty good (considering i haven't seen the rest of the series and had no idea what was going on). i'm sure plenty of people will accuse you of ripping off alvin-earthworm's style, but hey, what can ya do?

also, where can i too get that xiao xiao sound pack, seems like a good thing to have...

the cinematics were cool and the characters were very well-drawn. the moving hair looked good (i wish i knew how to do that). make something this good-looking with an actual plot and i think we can expect great things from you!
