freakin' sweet

pretty much represents what madness day is all about. a new take on the good, clean, madnessy fun we all know and love. and having the freakin' preloader be directly involved with the rest of the movie is definitely a new thing.

ah, and i dunno if anyone's said this yet, but i think stamper drew the preloader rather than krinkels. dont quote me on that though, i just sort of remember tom saying something about it when he introduced the preloader in a news post.

LYRONMARTIS responds:

Thanks for the review :)

go ahead and finish

animation was a little choppy, but overall it wasn't bad. though you might as well have waited and submitted the finished version, cuz i'm pretty sure you missed madness day.

The-Yokai responds:

Only by 20 minutes, and its still the 22nd where I live :)
Glad you liked it. I'm getting enough good feedback that I will definitely finish now. I'm gonna finish my other one first, though.

haha

it could be because it's a quarter till 3 in the morning, but i found this pretty funny. i especially liked the 'excuse me?' 'oh' *axe to the head* 'thanks' part. the ending was pretty funny too. it's too bad you didn't include the madness day preloader though.

113420 responds:

there was a preloader? ah, well, the filesize made my computor gag anyways.

eh...

it wasn't terrible. i mean the drawing was decent, and the animation wasn't too bad, but i couldn't really understand what they were saying. what did he say his name was and why was everyone so shocked? i missed that part.

overall, though, not bad for a first submission. try to make your next one longer, though.

Jesuspimp responds:

yeah the mic i used was the built in one on my laptop so the quality wasnt too good. the guy says that everyone should put the their buttcheeks together cuz this guy looks like a toucher..

passable

the art wasn't that bad, but the animation didn't seem to be much more than a bunch of motion tweens. also, the music keeps going even when you replay it, so you should probably fix that too.

one question though: what does this have to do with madness? other than the faces, there was nothing 'madness' about it.

paddy-ryan responds:

It was ment to be a comic thats why theres very little animation and Sounds represented with words.

The link to madness is,
Its surpose to be a begging of a tipical madness flash i.e after the events of the flash the main character fights evil with lots of guns

coulda been worse

though there were still some problems, some parts that looked unpolished, it wasn't horrendously awful like some (most?) 'first flashes.' the fighting didn't match the awesomeness of proxicide's originals, but it was still pretty good, and you threw in a humorous bit there too. so yeah, do more stuff. you could be pretty good in time, especially if you do something original.

Yeury responds:

i do agree that my flash does not match proxicide's, but he has been around longer than i have.

hilarious!

it's so wonderfully random. and i mean the good random, not, you know, metal gear toast random. that little pulp fiction thing at the end makes me chuckle every time.

Nogfish responds:

Haha thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

ok i suppose

it seems interesting enough, even though i can barely tell what it's about through this; i'll probably check out the real thing whenever it comes out. the main thing that bothered me with this were the segues: what you should've done was just have a big black shape you can alpha in and out over the movie instead alpha'ing the symbols themselves; that way you won't get that weird 'ghost' effect. oh, and i thought that scrolling preloader was pretty clever.

connemaraproductions responds:

Thanks for the review. I'll be looking into that whole alpha thing and see what I can do to fix it.

whoa

pretty trippy, almost hypnotic at some parts. pretty good use of shape tweens and stuff. but yeah it was cool.

Ghetto604 responds:

This movie sucks :P

sweet

Comedic gold, as always. but, um, you know what i'd really like to see? episode 11. how's that coming along?

parks2 responds:

You should listen to our weekly podcasts- we give updates on it. I've got to get in done in the next 2 months so it can go on our 2nd DVD- due out late July...

I kinda stopped animating. I could probably voice act some stuff though.
