i admit...

when i saw the ps in the author comments i thought, 'uh oh, i smell a blam.' but i actually kinda liked it. i gave it a save vote anyway. it was fairly amusing and fun to watch. sure the drawings were kinda bad but the badness seemed appropriate, and the animation didn't make my eyes bleed. of course, it's also 3 in the morning, and i dunno what other people will think, but i hope it passes.

make future animations like that (though with an actual plot) and you'll do fine.

ok...

well if you're not going to have it done in time for halloween, then what's the point of submitting it? an unfinished, 10 second sequence doesn't have a chance of winning or anything, so you might as well have waited. but go ahead and finish, though, it's certainly intriguing.

problems

plenty of them:
1) it's a pointless, quite poorly drawn stick figure battle. these almost never pass.
2) the sounds are, i'm pretty sure, not compressed. learn how to do that to cut down the file size, cuz there's no way this should be 3 megs.
3) it's not done?? why would you submit it if it's not done? it definitely won't pass if that's the case. finish before you submit.

and if you don't know how to make a loading bar (preloader) you can download one from newgrounds. i'm pretty sure there's a link somewhere under 'flash portal.'

pretty bad

let's see... ripped sprites, bad original artwork, jerky animation, every gun sounds the same, and sound was uncompressed. not to mention it's just another bad madness clone.

did you compress the sound at all? i'm pretty sure the file size shouldn't be this big. learn how to do that before you submit anything else.

so anyway, i remember seeing this from before, and i see that it's been extended. but it's still a mostly poorly animated stick figure battle littered with dbz cliches. and like always, movies like these almost never pass. the only way it would pass is if the sticks looked cleaner and moved more fluidly and the explosions, beams, and other effects looked better. so, hate to say it, but this'll probably get blammed like its previous incarnation. but hey, don't get discouraged. go look at some tutorials on ng (i did, they're great) and move on from this. you could probably be a pretty good animator with practice.
