I kinda stopped animating. I could probably voice act some stuff though.

What is the world coming to?

There's going to be a new show on G4: Hurl. It's basically a game show where the contestants eat a whole bunch of food, then get spun around in different contraptions, like a tilt-a-whirl. The one who can go the longest without puking wins a thousand bucks.

Nothing wrong with that, sounds like a funny show. That's way higher quality programing that most of the crap shows on now like corner gas or cornation street or something.

i wouldn't know, i haven't heard of either. first heard of hurl on a commercial and i was so exasperated i had to say something about it.

There are too many crappy game shows on TV nowadays to make this one feel like the stupidest.

the fact that there are stupider shows is just sad. makes the title of the post all the more relevant.

It sounds cool but won't it get boring to watch after a while. I'm already starting to get tired of a lot of the shows on G4.

i'll occasionally watch xplay. that's about it.

you don't like corner gas!?!?! well some of the humuor mostly candaian will understand buyt, yea i lived 30 minutes were the filmed it :P

Unfortunately, I live in Canada so I'm limited to the certain amount of shows I see on G4, so I probably won't be seeing Hurl :(

I think it's hilarious because it sounds like the entertainment business is so desperate for ideas. "Hey! Why not make a show about vomiting!"

Man.

i really thought it was a joke when i first saw the commercial on tv. when it became apparent that it was a real show, i just went 'oh my god...'

I've seen dumber.
Have you ever seen any strange Japanese game shows?

besides mxc (i know, i know, it's dubbed over in english so that's probably not the name of the original show in japan), no. it's still a strange one though. they have some pretty mean prank shows too which are always funny to watch.

Won't it get boring after a few episodes or so? I mean, it's the exact same thing over and over again. At least watch like Wipeout or something, it's the exact same thing (bailing out) but it's cause of different things. Hurl training would be awesome though.

one would think so. let's see how long it lasts.

I used to love g4. Then it stopped showing tech and games and put all this reality show bullshit on. The ninja show is the only cool one they added.

i thought that too when i saw the commercial. 'didn't g4 used to be about video games and stuff?'

Who wants to bet how the bilemic and anorexic people will react? Also G4 sucks balls and I wish Bansuke and Sasuke were on another channel.

SOUNDS LIKE FUN.... but then again I run into vending machines for fun.....

i'd rather watch that than people puking.

Well, as said before, Japanese game shows are creme de la creme when it comes to ridiculosity. One show I know goes as such:
Some 10 to 15 Japanese celebrities are put in a classroom. Someone comes in, tries to make them laugh. If anyone laughs, they get a spanking in the ass with a kendo stick.

People will watch anything these days.

i thought the japanese were smart? or was i misinformed?

sounds appetizing.
